Finally nearing the end of grade eight,
Leaving these school halls we anticipate.
“Later,Cedar Grove!” Is what us kids state,
While looking forward to our high school fate.
Reminiscing on the days that are now in the past,
We can’t wait to run out of our classrooms so very fast.
So many years spent here; we’re surprised it’s our last,
The affect these school's has put on us is amazingly vast.
Tears stream down our face as we leave a best friends,
And finally smile at our enemies to make an amend.
We wont forget the Parasuco or Baby Phat trend,
Now this elementary school life is soon to end.
Graduation day is nearer than ever before,
The final year here we wish for some more,
So we can still feel comfortable while walking through that classroom door.
Yet never again will we come to class late and to our teacher implore.
Let us never forget the ones who were always there,
Such as the kindly janitors, that made sure everything wasn’t in need of repair.
Or meomeries, from Quebec,
So that our health and safety wouldn’t be in despair.
Or the teachers, who taught us so much,
In our minds; their lessons we must truly clutch.
Lots to keep in mind like science, math and such,
Or else in high school with our brainpower we’ll lose touch.
Through the good times the great times and those not so fun,
Our accomplishments are many and our regrets are none.
Though in the end it feels like us students have yet not won.
Because though saying good-bye, our lives have barely begun.
